Text instead of spreadsheets

I'm having a hard time with reading the answers whenever the spreadsheets link is provided instead of the the full answer in text & numbers format. Moreover, I really appreciate it if it was possible to use the mathematical symbols instead of words, for instance e instead of EXP. Although I understand that in work settings, we will have to work with spreadsheets but on the day of exam, we have only the calculator.

@Steve Jobs

You'll need to cite specific instances because my general approach (I'm not saying I am perfect about it) is to link/employ a spreadsheet (i) as a supplement or (ii) when the answer is really difficult; for most other cases, I try to elaborate, but if you cite specific instances (which I realize takes your time) I will make sure to check any instance on revision. Philosophically, I agree, I don't want to ask folks to necessarily link to spreadsheets, so I will appreciate any help with specifics, because I try not to depend on them.

Re: the reason I use EXP(x) rather than e[superscript(x)] is to reduce our error rate: on revision, it's all-too-easy for it to become ex. In instance when we embed MathType, we try to use "e" but exp(x) is just robust to edit/format changes, candidly, is the key reason. Admittedly, we could use e^(x), but if that's only marginally better, it would come at the cost of inconsistency with our current exp(x) usage, thanks,

Hi David,

For instance q 40.2 to 40.4 in Tuckman chapters, however, I understand the above mentioned difficulties in formatting. I'll be reading Kaplan and get back to BT later for whatever questions answered in text.

Thanks,
