I think you should add a section for "Suggestions" to make the site better.....

Maybe you have one - my eyes and brain are dead right now....

So, I'll leave a suggestion here.

For some reason, I am unable to search for questions in the search bar using the question number, for example, P2.T5.87 does not return anything. It would be helpful if we could search in such a way.

Agreed! We should have a suggestions area forum for each level/part.

Hi @brian.field great point! When I search on"P2.T5.87" I get back "The search could not be completed because the search keywords were too short, too long, or too common" so this may be a simple setting. Let me ask my tech guys if we can fix this (we seriously did retain Xenfor experts for forum maintenance), it may just be setting. I'll get back here ASAP!

@Mkaim for forum-type suggestions, isn't one sticky thread sufficient? I don't think we'd get too many forum-type suggestions ... cc @Nicole Manley for thoughts. Thanks!

Hey @David Harper CFA FRM , now that I read your response, I realized what @brian.field meant by suggestions (improvements to the forum). I'm not sure why I misunderstood it before, perhaps it's my brain that's dead right now. I originally understood it as suggestions for the exam or tips which is why I mentioned one for each part. My fault! Now that I understand what @brian.field was requesting, I still agree with his idea and yours about one thread being sufficient. I'm seriously losing it...

@Mkaim honestly, i sort of know the "army crawl" feeling: we basically go through it giving support up to the exam day. Maybe it's not exactly the same, but I'd like to think we are here to share in the (good) pain. I say good pain because it's learning, so I always feel like it's worth it afterwords

Hey @David Harper CFA FRM and @Nicole Manley , thanks for the reply. I can only imagine what you have to go through each exam cycle. You and Nicole definitely make my life easier, and it's very much appreciated. Thanks again for all the help.

Hi @Nicole Manley and @David Harper CFA FRM, whenever you update the study planner study note or question set, make the provision to display the date when the study note or question set is updated or modified. That will help.
Thank you:)
Hello @Deepak Chitnis

If we display more information in the actual headings of the study planner, it becomes cluttered. We created these two threads so you can see the publish dates:

Part 1: https://forum.bionicturtle.com/threads/2016-part-1-new-and-updated-published-materials.9235/
Part 2: https://forum.bionicturtle.com/threads/2016-part-2-new-and-updated-published-materials.9238/

Thank you,

Nicole

I think @Deepak Chitnis is on to something here though.

It would be good to add a date stamp on the downloadable pdfs.....for example, consider Dowd
s first BT Practice Question set in part 2.

It is called:

P2.T5. Market Risk Measurement & Management
Bionic Turtle FRM Practice Questions
Kevin Dowd, Measuring Market Risk, 2nd Edition

Perhaps you could add a Published Date so that if I have an older version, I can compare the published date to the version on the website to ensure I have the most recent version.

Same thing with the Notes.

hmmm... I see your point @brian.field . What I was thinking is that I can regularly visit part 2 thread Nicole provided to see if any material was published since I last visited it that I haven't covered yet. I also think adding a date stamp for the last update date could help those who go directly to the study planner.

Just to be clear, I am suggesting that a date stamp be added to the pdf document itself and not to the webpage.

Haaa... I actually didn't take it like that but I just wanted to be sure because there is always a remote chance considering that this crunch time and people could be on the edge due to work and studying. But to answer your question, yeah I'm ready to get this done with and move on.

Speaking from personal experience, every time I've worked with a developer related to a requirement it's always turned out that what I deemed as a simple requirement (ask) takes an insane amount of LOE (level of effort). With that said, do you think it's a good idea to have a prompt mentioning something like "have you searched the forum to ensure your enquiry/question hasn't already been addressed" when people create a new thread. Or it could be hard coded as a sentence in the new thread window. Just an idea.
