Mock Exams

Hi David,

I believe I read in one of your thread messages that Suzanne (or someone) is preparing mock exams. Is this correct? If so, do you know when the mock exam(s) will be available? I think I've gone through all of the current practice questions at least once. I am beginning to feel confident about my level of retention. But, I want to continue to build on my momentum in terms of mental endurance. If not, I will continue practicing with the current questions and just make sure I internalize the concepts.

Thanks,

Charles

cdbsmith,

Yes, that is correct that we are working on mock exams.

Early next week at the latest, but I'm going to try and get them done by tomorrow.

Thanks!

This refers to additional mock exams, just to clarify. If you look in the Study Planner, we already do have 4 P1 and 2 P2 mock exams. Thanks,

Thanks David,

How much time I should allot while practicing mock exams.
I more question, this time i didn't see any information on carrying analog watch to exam as last time some proctors allow watch but mine not?

  • As Mocks/Practice Exams are 25% (i.e., 25/100 in P1 and 20/80 in P2), the recommendation is 60 minutes (i.e., 25% of four hours)
  • I don't know about the watch (I had assumed the environments each maintain public clock but that's an imagined assumption). I tasked this to our wrike, if you don't have an answer by Monday, we'll check with our contact so we can confirm next week, thanks,

Ank,

According to GARP's facebook page where another registrant inquired about analog watches, GARP responded with the following: "Both digital and analog wristwatches are allowed in the Exam room, so long as they do not have engaged audible alarms/timers. Wristwatches can be removed and placed on the desk. "
