Part 2 - quantitive or qualitative?

Hi All

I've been reading through the GARP books and using David's videos. Soon I'll start practising questions but I am finding it difficult to go through so much text and trying to retain stuff into my memory like a sponge.

Having read past exam experiences it seems there are not many quantitative like questions that are asked. does that mean we should learn passages from memory or know how to apply our knowledge when faced with scenarios or a mix?

should I even practise the formula like questions much?

thanks

Memorizing passages isn't going to help you much. As you pointed out, there is a lot of content! You need to understand the content in order to do well. The majority of questions test your understanding of the material and won't ask a direct question. Regarding formulas, many formulas are given on the exam but some are not (speaking from my experience from part 1).
