FRM 2013 Study Material

Hi

I've registered for the FRM exam in May. When will the 2013 FRM study material be available online? Will it come out on 2nd Feb 2013 (only P1.T1?) according to the study calender? Sorry, just a little bit confused on how the calender works.

Because it is takes time to publish new material, we publish as-we-go in sequence, so the first publish is Study Notes for sections P1.T1 (Foundations) and P2.T5 (Market Risk). But of course, in the meantime, all of the 2012 material remains available. Thanks,

Hi David,

Since you have updated the notes for P2 T5 to include the new Tuckman chapters, I wanted to know if you are planning to add practice questions for those topics?

Hi Mahesh,

Yes, in fact, as the daily question alternates P1 and P2 (M = P1, T = P2), I started this year's P2 with the new Tuckman. Here is today's daily question on Tuckman:

... so per our schedule, I finish the new Tuckman (Chapter 10) next week, which means that the new Tuckman PDF (a set for the new chapters) will publish at the end of next week. Thanks!

Are the study notes available only in PDF format or is BT also providing print-out ones as well?

The link that you click on for sample materials on the website doesn't take you to any sample materials, rather a FAQ about obtaining a receipt for purchase, and the other page describing the content is just a bunch of vague descriptions with "coming soon" links.

I'm strongly considering purchasing one of your packages based on the good word of mouth, but to be honest your website doesn't do a very good job of explaining what the material actually is. It took me about twenty minutes of searching to find out that hard copies of the books aren't provided.

$600 is a lot of money to put down on something without a clear description of how many pages the study notes are, how many hours of videos are available, and the depth of the question bank etc. I'm sure it's something I can find somewhere in your forum, but to be honest I don't think one should have to go on a wild goose chase to figure these things out.

Not trying to give you a hard time, just a little frustrated. Any additional clarification you guys could provide would be well appreciated, thanks in advance. Your pass rates are great so I am hoping I can figure everything out and get on board.

We are in the process of a site re-design in which we are going to begin publishing our contents individually by reading vs. entire topics. We will start publishing these contents prior to the November exam (you will have access via the study planner), but the site re-launch will not occur until after the November exam.

We offer thousands of practice questions.

Length of videos will vary depending on the topics. My guess is anywhere from 30 minutes to a little over an hour each video. Videos too will be broken down soon by reading vs. entire topics.

New contents will start publishing the beginning of July.
