Can anyone comment on questions "exercise: xyz"? source: '01 FRM exam

Those questions are from the 2001 FRM exam so they are definitely pertinent. Also, David confirmed that it is OK, encouraged even, to dig up old exams for discussion. So, does anyone have any comments or suggestions for those questions?
