UPDATE NOVEMBER 5, 2021

COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR BULGARIA CANDIDATES

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Bulgaria will occur as planned, all candidates must present proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test result valid within 72 hours prior to their exam appointment date/time. Please refer to the official email for more details pertaining to the EU Digital COVID Certificate.

Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR MAURITIUS CANDIDATES

While GARP's upcoming November 2021 Exams scheduled in Mauritius will occur as planned, all candidates must present proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test result valid within 72 hours prior to their exam appointment date/time.

Candidates who do not provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Romania will occur as planned, all candidates must present proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test result valid within 24 hours prior to their exam appointment date/time.

Candidates who do not provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR SRI LANKA CANDIDATES

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Sri Lanka will occur as planned, all candidates must obtain a letter from their local Ministry of Health certifying that they are not currently undergoing any form of quarantine or restrictions in their Public Health Inspector (PHI) area.

This is a letter that candidates can obtain from their local PHI, which they can find here. The letter must be issued and dated within five days of their scheduled exam date, and must be printed and shown upon checking in. Candidates who do not present this letter will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR SINGAPORE CANDIDATES

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Singapore will occur as planned, all candidates must scan SafeEntry using the TraceTogether app. The QR code is provided during check in at the exam site. If you have not used the TraceTogether app, please sign up and collect a TraceTogether token for contract tracing.

Candidates who do not follow this rule will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register.

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Malaysia will occur as planned, all candidates must present proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test result valid within 72 hours prior to their exam appointment date/time. COVID-19 rapid self-test kit results will NOT be accepted; candidates must take the test at a clinic or hospital.

Candidates who do not provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR ALL U.S. CANDIDATES

All U.S. candidates taking a GARP Exam in November/December 2021 must complete a COVID-19 Questionnaire before arriving at their Exam. Please print the form, fill it out, and bring it with you on exam day. The proctors will collect the document during check-in. Please refer to the official email to obtain the form.

Candidates who do not follow these instructions and present the above-mentioned Questionnaire will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when you re-register. COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR CHINA CANDIDATES

While the majority of GARP's upcoming November 2021 Exams scheduled in China will occur as planned, candidates in that region must complete three specific requirements regarding health code/tracking, Nucleic Acid Report, and temperature checks.

Candidates should refer to the official email they received with specific instructions for completing these requirements. Candidates who do not follow these instructions will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when you re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

NOV FRM PART I EXAMS POSTPONED IN ZHENGZHOU, CHINA

Due to local restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, GARP must postpone all upcoming November 2021 Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Exams Part I in Zhengzhou, China to May 2022. Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect their deferral. On December 1, 2021, candidates will be able to log in and schedule their exam appointment.

NOV FRM PART I EXAMS POSTPONED IN CHENNAI, INDIA

Due to heavy rainfall, GARP must postpone all upcoming November 2021 Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Exams Part I in Chennai, India to May 2022. Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect their deferral. On December 1, 2021, candidates will be able to log in and schedule their exam appointment.

COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENT FOR LUXEMBOURG CANDIDATES

While GARP's upcoming November/December 2021 Exams scheduled in Luxembourg will occur as planned, all candidates must present proof of either a:
  • Vaccination Certificate:Accepted vaccines are BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen).
    • For two dose vaccines: Candidates can take their Exams beginning the day of the second dose, or from the 14th day after the first dose in case of recovery within six months of a COVID-19 infection.
    • For one dose vaccines: Candidates can take their Exams starting the 14th day after their vaccination.
  • Negative test result: PCR tests are valid within 72 hours of the exam appointment date/time. Rapid antigen tests are valid 48 hours prior to the exam appointment date/time.
Candidates who do not provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative test will not be able to sit for the Exam and will be required to pay the exam fee when they re-register. GARP is actively monitoring COVID-19 status and will continue to provide updates to you as the Exam date approaches.

DEC FRM PART II EXAMS POSTPONED IN NEW ZEALAND

Due to the extended COVID-19 lockdown in New Zealand, GARP must postpone all upcoming December 2021 Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Part II Exams in that region to May 2022. Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect their deferral. On December 1, 2021, candidates will be able to log in and schedule their exam appointment.

Due to COVID restrictions in Nanchang, all upcoming December 2021 Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Part II Exams will take place at:

Candidates should note: Your exam date and time will remain the same. In addition, the old address (Technician Building, North District of Qingshanhu Campus, Nanchang University, No. 235 Nanjing East Road, Nanchang) has been removed from your portal. If you haven’t yet been sent a Confirmation of Appointment email with the new address provided above, you will receive one from ATA in the next few days.
GARP strongly recommends that all candidates visit their venue a few days prior to the Exam so that they know exactly where to go. On the day of the Exam, please allow enough time in your commute for any unexpected delays.

Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect their deferral. Following this update, candidates will be able to log in and schedule their exam appointment. Exams are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Due to new restrictions set in place by the Shanghai COVID-19 Prevention Bureau, GARP is very disappointed to announce that it must postpone the upcoming December 10, 2021 Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Part II Exams in Shanghai to May 2022.

Candidates should allow some time for the exam window on their Dashboard to be updated to reflect their deferral. Following this update, candidates will be able to log in and schedule their exam appointment. Exams are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
