BT - PRACTICE EXAM

Hi David,

Noting the fact that there is hardly 5 weeks left for the FRM 2009 exam, are you planning to set any simulated Level 1 question paper for us to solve. Though i agree that there are various questions which are available on BT site, however 2 full length queestion papers for level 1 would help us to be better prepared for exam as all the 4 sections would be incorporated in 1 single paper.

Pls advise as currently 1 have got only 1 such question paper to solve i,e from the FRM site SAMPLE L1 question paper of 2009.

Thanks & Best rgds
Amit

Hi Amit,

Please note the sample has compound questions, so it's equivalent to multiple samples ... i am aware of the time to exam (it will be my first whole day off in several months)...I am constantly adding questions, I write new questions every day. My priority is quality, relevant questions. Yes, I do plan another L1 PDF (sample) before the exam, but the issue is timing (e.g., i have to finish L2 videos) ... I will do my best, so i do not want to make specific promises ... please do not use the forum to negotiate with me further additions. This forum is a lot of work for me (e.g., today i have maybe 20 outstanding questions here on the forum, in addition to recording/uploading the 8.a. tutorial and XLS ... that's my slow Saturday), , and I like to help customers understand concepts, but, candidly, if i have to wake up everyday to "status checks" simply b/c I have a transparent platform, then I will rethink this forum.

Hi David,

Thanks for the update. I appreciate the kind of stress you are into and honestly i did not intend to boggle you more. I know only this FORUM as a means to communicate with you so posted my thought out here.

Pls continue doing what you are doing as its the best available stuff as per me and let all of us know if there is some other way also in which we can communicate any such concerns apart from FORUM so you need not rethink on the FORUM as this is the best offering of BT as per me.

My sincere apologies in case i have bothered you.

Thanks & best rgds

Hi Amit,

It's okay, as long as we have a forum, I'd like it to be open and I gave you my honest reply.

I love suggestions if they are polite and reasonable (e.g., they don't try to bind me to additional deliverables when we all know that everybody is under stress given the unique hazards of GARP's decision to deploy L1+L2 in a most unfortunate manner).

For non-forum, Suzanne makes sure we reply to every email. I bet this year, she has replied same-day to 90+% emails (she really has impressed me with her ability to respond in off hours), you can copy me, too. We read/reply to every email:
