Hi I just thought I would let people know. I submitted my resume on Jan 3rd - I received notification that I could use the certified FRM designation today........

Thanks for getting back, that's good to know.... As someone mentioned on the other thread though - I looked at my online profile - the status field (set by GARP) show's me to be an FRM holder. I guess I have to wait until I receive the email from GARP before I can use it though.

The GARP site says something about when we can expect our certificate to be posted, i.e. If you submit your experience between December 22, 2012 - March 31, 2013 You can expect the certificate to be posted by......April 15, 2013. However, for me the certificate is just a nice to have really...

I think there was a bug which has now been fixed, at one point I was able to log in, try to register and I got a message saying I'd passed, but as I said I think that was a bug, now I get the same message as everyone else saying the results have not been released. Might as well just wait, sorry...

If I were you I would put in a bit of BLURB about the FRM in your application - if you have room. There are many people out there who know about it in hiring positions - but many who do not, I think over time the ratio will shift in favor of those that do.

Same thing happens when I try now, I guess it was just a bug which they have now fixed.

This is the actual message I get when I try to register...... FRM Exam - Registration Our records show that you have already passed the FRM Exam. Once accreditation is awarded, you do not need to retake the exam.

I just logged on to the GARP website, and tried to register for Part II FRM, the site told me I could not because their results indicated that I had already passed the FRM exam. So either there's a bug in the system, or someone wanted to upload them before they went on holiday.

I think there may be away to find out if you passed today... If you go to the GARP website (without logging on) then attempt to register, you will see a message saying... you need to be logged on to register - logon as yourself -then you will find yourself taken directly to the registration...
