Study Time required

Hey everyone. I just heard of these 2 courses FRM and PRM. I just want to know which one is better to take. I had a look at the syllabus of both. And I felt FRM is more detailed than PRM. But I may be wrong.

Currently I am working. So I will not have much time to devote for studies as I will be out of the house for atleast 11 hours in a day. So if anyone could tell me the time required to be spent on a normal basis studying for these exams, will be helpful.

Can one get the study material just by paying the enrollment fee or he gets the study material only after he registers for the exam?

And also can one take up Part-1 of the FRM exam in the month of November? Or is it like Part-1 in May and Part-2 in November.


Please do help me out.

After you test for Level 1 - you have 4 years to successfully pass Level 2 to receive your certification.

although, if you aren't sitting for the exam, you likely wouldn't want all of these readings. David
