FRM Part 1 - key concepts

Hi,
I am about 75% through the BT part 1 syllabus and have already started thinking about my plan for reviewing it and start practicing questions. To say I am slight overwhelmed by the content of the course is an understatement!! I am planning on sitting the November exam.
I am well aware that this is not an exam that you can cut corners on, hence why I have started so early. However is it possible to filter the syllabus to the key concepts that are frequently tested? And therefore allow myself to focus more time on these?

Any bit of advice is helpful.
Many Thanks.

Hi @DRoche I can help with that, when we update the formula sheet, but I want to first finish the outstanding study notes. There are always some customers who prioritize completeness of the materials, and I don't want to start the summary-type workflow revisions until we (me and our writer) have updated the considerable Notes (and PQ material). In short, given we have some time until October, personally i don't want to start the summary-type workflow stuff quite yet ... stay tuned, please. Thanks,

Hello @DRoche

In addition to David's response above, the feedback threads in the forum may be helpful to you. Many of our members discuss the concepts that were tested on the exam. This is not the perfect solution, but it would be a good guide to help you get started because it gives you an idea of the concepts that have been consistently tested over the years. It is actually quite amazing to see the details that some members remember from the exam! The feedback threads are located in the About FRM section of the forum here: https://forum.bionicturtle.com/forums/about-frm.2/ . You can also click on the Exam Feedback prefix and all of the threads will come up on one page: https://forum.bionicturtle.com/forums/about-frm.2/?prefix_id=40. I hope this helps a bit!
