Hi David and Suzanne,

I aim to take the FRM full exam on May 22nd, it seems that BT is a very good place to get all resources needed. I just have some questions to which I didn't find the answer while searching other topics. All apologies if my questions are redundant(and I'm pretty sure they will be :cheese: )!

1) What is your advice with the core readings proposed by GARP? I think I saw somewhere(but then wasn't able to find the page back! :blank: ) on the forum that you would recommend reading it, but that it wasn't absolutely necessary.

2) Now that the exam is split into two parts, doesn't it make more sense to take the full exam in May, and try again in November if the second part is failed? My question is, if one passes part I and fails part II, he can retake part II any number of times he wants?

I have a master in Statistics from the university of Geneva. If someone from the region is also taking the exam, I'd be happy to talk with him/her.

Do we need to register for the course on Feb1 for the May 2010 exam?
And, tentatively by what date would the coaching be finished formally for the FRM level I May 2010 exam?

Hello again,

Unfortunately, I was going over the EB from last year, and the parts that are missing are quite fundemental to the material (e.g GARCH (1,1) etc..)
I wanted to know if it would be possible to have a quick review similar to the Early Bird you had last year.

No, you can register for the course now. With doing that, you would be able to get a jump start by utilizing the 2008 & 2009 content that was already published. Once we begin to publish the 2010 content, you will have access to that as well!

We do not have a set in stone schedule as of right now. We are still in the process of preparing that. But as soon as that is complete, we should be able to share.

Unfortunately with Level 1 and Level 2 being in May, we will not have time for Early Birds this year.
