Exam day tip?

Is there one on this site? I couldn't find one.

I have few question, should I bring a bag? So I can put everything not allowed in the room in the bag and place it outside? Is mechanical pencil allowed? Is water allowed?(with clear bottle). Will there be a clock or I better bring a watch? And any other tip? Thanks a lot!

Hi chugangc - To be honest, we haven't focused on logistical tips in a while (maybe we should?) ... I just assume GARP should be giving logistical direction. David

David, I really wish Garp's site is as easy to navigate as BT, I found enough info on Garp's site on what I must bring but not nearly enough how what I can't bring.

Anyone who has taken it before might want comment on it?

I think they provided all the information you're after in an email they sent out on 21st October 2010. Last year I recall them being quite strict - if it is not in the first list (and on your desk) or in the second list (and under your chair) then you can't take it. Simple as that.

Note that we had to leave any other items (such as a rucksack or coat) in the corridor outside or at the very back of the room.

At our exam they had a projector running showing a clock (because the room didn't have a big enough clock that could be seen by the people at the very far back).
