FAQ Exam Are Z Tables provided on the exam?

Hi, I have currently completing some practice exams provided by Kaplan Schweser, and one of the questions states, ..."Note that on the exam, you will not have access to z-tables, so you would have to reason this one out using the normal distribution approximations"...I was of the understanding that z tables were provided as the use of them was examinable. Can someone help me out and tell me if they will be included on the exam, I believe that they were on previous exams. Thanks

Sure @Eustice_Langham I just noticed that the thread to which I linked contains a link to GARP's own FAQ at https://www.garp.org/#!/frm/frequently-asked-questions where they say a Z-table is provided
Z-Table Information
A standard table presenting the values for the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the standard normal distribution (“z-table”) is provided, as is other relevant information pertaining to the CDFs of other probably distributions (F, chi-square, etc.) where necessary and applicable. Memorization of CDF values is therefore not expected. A list of common abbreviations used throughout the Exam is also provided.

Hi all.

I just have a question regarding the z table decimals to be provided during the exam. For example, in calculating the N(d1), z table will be used to come up with the probability.

That being said, the z table provided only shows z with 2 decimals (instead of 4 that is usually the case of calculation (e.g., N(0.2368) vs z table only shows -0.23 with corresponding P of 0.4090). In that case, the result of the calculation might vary due to the differences between 2 and 4 decimals being used.

I wonder if anyone also encounter such issue?

Thank you in advance.
