Hello @Nicole Seaman

Approximately, how long would it take for deferral to show up on the dashboard?
Hello @NicD Unfortunately, we do not have any information about the specific process that GARP uses for deferrals so this is a question that you would need to ask GARP or another member here may be able to answer it for you.

Hi, checking if there is anyone writing exams this week in South Africa? The test centre I need to write at, is currently closed due to the protest and looting activities in Gauteng. They are not sure when they will open up again.
Have anybody heard anything from GARP regarding this? Would love to write and get it over with, but I do believe we are all quite distracted by the current situation in our country.

I have my exam scheduled for Monday December 6 at 2pm and my confirmation email states ”…required to provide a negative report of COVID-19 test which should be administered not more than 48 hours prior to the exam.”

However the government website states that covid test results typically take 24-72 hours after the test is administered so how can I be sure to get the results back before I sit for my exam?

@Turtlebox I recommend that you contact GARP directly to discuss the process of COVID testing before the exam. They are really the only ones that can provide you with an accurate answer regarding their policies and what is accepted.

Hi Nicole @Nicole Seaman ,

I received an email about "Time Is Running Out to Schedule Your FRM Exam" two weeks ago, so that I changed my FRM Part 2 exam site to "Dublin-The Exam Centre South, Unit F, Time Place, 21 Corrig Road, Sandyford, Dublin, D18 FDP7, Ireland", but then I received "Please disregard the email you recently received with the subject line "Time Is Running Out to Schedule Your FRM Exam", at this time I cannot modify back to my exam location, so I want to confirm whether my current exam location is available.

And I want to know, will the FRM exam syllabus that has been postponed 5 times still remain the same?

Hello @Quan

We are a third-party prep provider so we are not able to answer any questions regarding the exam locations. GARP is the only one that can answer questions regarding the actual exam or the exam locations. I recommend that you contact them directly to get an accurate answer to your question. Their contact information is here: https://www.garp.org/about/contact-us.

Regarding the FRM syllabus, all exams in 2021 are being tested on the 2021 curriculum.
