For the work experience submission, do we just add the most recent job title? or we can anything relevant over the past 5 years? Also, regarding the job description, do we put in the company-posted job description or your actual work projects/experiences?
For the work experiences submission, can we add multiple positions over the past 5 years or just the most recent one? and the job description, we have to put in a real job description or your actual work projects and such?
Passed. Thanks Bionic Turtle! I did not even buy GARP books for Part 2. Just study from BT materials and such. Thanks @David Harper CFA FRM and @Nicole Seaman. I was surprised that I passed since I left the exam room with a lot of doubts but anyway. Now to the next chapter of our career.
I agreed with everyone above. The exam was written poorly and very difficult. Even for some quantitative questions, they touched on some very specific calculations (seems less relevant) like hurdle rate, etc. like no RAROC, no TSM. I don’t know what to feel about Part II. Some questions are...
There are Optional Regulatory Readings for Part II. Are we supposed to study them as well? I know @David Harper CFA FRM does have reading materials for those chapters, but I am not sure whether the materials will be testable.
@David Harper CFA FRM per the screenshot below, if I understand correct, the $775,000 can be returned to the counterparty since it is positive; however, on the next day, when MTM drops, the counterparty need to post $150,000 in collateral correct? Thanks a lot for your help
I just started studying for Part II and I am overwhelming with the amount of materials as compared to Part I. What are you thoughts on the process of how should I tackle part II materials?
Does anyone know where I can find the excel spreadsheet that shows calculations for VaR Mapping? I looked into Study Note and PPT slides but could not find any links? @Nicole Seaman please show me if you can. Thanks
There is also a question about the par rate that can be calculate involving Swap and LIBOR rate? I was unable to get that one cause I was struggling with all the info they provided so I just randomly guess it given it is a upward spot curve.
