As a risk manager, I have to hedge my risk by both printing my exam ticket while it is available and continuing to study until I receive confirmation of cancellation from GARP.

I am still able to print my admission ticket for the Grand Salon Opera Room...Seat # 0018...

What a bummer...I hope that the third time is the charm and we can actually write the exam. Judging from the other delays since yesterday, January 16 seems to be what they are aiming for.

I think with computer based testing (CBT) you will have a window of 1-2 weeks to show up and write your exam at a testing center in your city. I imagine the administrators clean the mice and keyboards (and other things in the post-COVID19 world...) after each sitting during the 1-2 week window...

I think jurisdictions such as China, Europe, Canada for instance - places that have “flattened the curve” and/or adapted to the virus will be more likely to hold the exams. It could be done on a region by region basis as well. I believe that CFAI cancelled only certain testing centers in China...
