# of Ethics questions

Hi David,

I found two full length practice exams online, and both of them have several ethics questions that are ridiculously picky (i.e. one would have to memorize most of the ethics chapter to get them right). Can we expect several questions on ethics to appear on the exam?

Hi Lee,

I don't think anybody knows. Ethics section is relatively new to the exam, and frankly, the feedback has been negative (w.r.t quality) from our previous customers

I don't think it can be safely predicted b/c it could be a source of flux; I'd expect GARP is getting input/pushback esp. on this section.

If you want my personal guess--qualified and with caveats (it's just my guess)--I would not "go deep" on ethics for Nov 2011.Let's not confuse GARP with CFA. CFA ethics requires a detailed study because CFA has a robust framework. GARP has an immature framework and is in no position to "test picky" on ethics. So, part of my guess is that the number of Ethics questions will be low. But that's all i know, thanks, David
