The 2026 Learning Objectives have been released, and we are updating the materials accordingly. New resources will be available in the study planner starting in January, with ongoing updates throughout the exam period. We appreciate your patience as we focus on maintaining high-quality content during this process.

We kindly ask that you refrain from inquiring about the publication dates of specific materials. Addressing status update questions diverts our attention from the important work of preparing content. Thank you for your patience during this busy time. We’re dedicated to providing our members with the best and most up-to-date materials!

  • Current Curriculum: Please refer to your study planner under My Courses or the GARP syllabus, which reflects the current curriculum, as the PDFs in Vital Source cannot be published until all chapter updates within a topic are prepared.
  • Curriculum Coverage: While we aim to provide valuable learning materials, we do not guarantee a complete set (notes, PQs, instructional videos, etc.) will be published for every reading or chapter. Our update process focuses on assessed priority and the complexity of concepts, ensuring we deliver the most value rather than filling every gap in the study planner.

Our Materials Focus on Quality and Integrity

We ensure that the comprehension of our study products remains intact with every update to our materials. There are five main reasons we do not include every reading found in the syllabus:
  1. The GARP FRM syllabus is not a rigorous, fixed map of the exam. It contains more concepts than can be tested.
  2. GARP emphasizes knowledge points and key concepts. This aligns with the FRM Learning Objectives, and the assigned readings support it.
  3. The exam is practice-oriented. Actual exam questions originate from practitioners, not from the chapters. They are subsequently vetted against the readings.
  4. The reading list changes every year. We believe “chasing” every new reading is unnecessary, as some readings have historically appeared only once on the syllabus, were not on the exam, and were then dropped the following year.
  5. Some topics are too dense and won’t be used. Many readings contain some details that are not relevant to the exam.
Thank you all for using Bionic Turtle. We wish you luck in your studies!!

Chapter on mentioned thread was added in 2025 curriculum but I could not find video on the same. Please update the material including video and question bank at the earliest. I want to complete market Risk in this week.

Lynch, Chapter 4 on mentioned thread was added in 2025 curriculum but I could not find video on the same. Please update the material including video and question bank at the earliest. I want to complete market Risk in this week.
@Vicky26 Please make sure to read the original post in this forum thread, which will help clarify why you may not see specific materials published in the study planner just yet.

Our team is currently working very hard to update and publish the materials. The Lynch chapter videos will be published shortly. We follow a specific process to determine the order of updates for each topic & chapter. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out to me directly through a forum message. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Hi.

First of all, I have read the "Publishing Process for 2026" post by Nicole Seaman, and despite your request to refrain from further inquiries, I believe there is a glaring gap in the materials to ignore, since I have only a month left to prepare for the exam.

Because it was impossible to post a new message in the original thread, I posted it here.

Several topics at the end of the Risk Management & Investment Management chapter contain no material at all. Not even original readings. Could you please provide information on the availability of the materials (any materials!) on the missing topics?

The same applies to the Current Issues In Financial Markets section - almost all topics are empty. Readings can be found on the GARP webpage, though.

It is counterproductive to navigate through the different sources of materials, trying to fill the gaps with the GARPs original text, as it has quite a different structure from the BTs materials.

Thank you.

Agreed. As a new student using bionic turtle, I would like to know when will the new materials be released as there is only 1.5 months left.
