Game plan for May 2012 FRM

I registered for FRM part 1 & 2 and was shocked by the depth of FRM. My background is that I am a finance major in my university days and that I have passed CFA L1,2,3 in one try.

Now-28Feb: Focus on FRM part 1
1 March-30April: Focus on FRM part 2
1May-17May: Revision

Do you think this will work? I am assuming that part 1 and 2 are equally hard. Btw, I am very happy that FRM is very challenging.

Hi maisatomai,

Can it be done? Yes
Has it been done? Yes

David has provided a lot of feedback on "how much time" within his notebook in the forum located here.

However, please keep in mind that you must pass both Part 1 and Part 2 in sequence. Example: If you test for Part 1 and fail but you pass Part 2, you will have to take both Parts over again. Passing both parts together is going to depend upon how your grasp the concepts as well as how much study preparation you have.

I hope that helps.

Thanks,
Suzanne
