FRM Level 1 Prep Material

Hi David,

I am planning to subscribe to Bionic Turtle Prep material for FRM Level 1. However, I am confused between Tier 2 and Tier 3 options. I appeared for my CFA Level 2 exam last month, so I have some background knowledge on the areas that overlap between FRM 1 and CFA 2. Also, I already have Schweser's Study Notes for FRM Level 1 . I have the following questions,

1. What would I be missing if I went for Tier 2 instead of Tier 3?
2. How and when would the Learning spreadsheet come in handy while preparing for FRM Level 1?
3. Can you give me an overview on how I can utilise Bionic Turtle resources(for ex. Forum, Study Planner) most effectively when I subscribe to the prep material?

It would be great if you can answer my queries and help me make a choice.

Thanks,
Ajit

Hi Ajit,

Thank you for your interest in bionicturtle.com!

1) If you purchased Tier 2 vs. Tier 3 you would not have access to the learning spreadsheets.
2) We were the first to complement instruction with our huge library of custom-built "learning spreadsheets." Both Excel and online formats. Advanced learners tend to use these. These are optional therefore I would utilize them in your preparations at the end.
3) The forum is for reassurance and uncertainties. David spends a lot of his time in the forum on customer support in reference to practice questions, etc. The Study Planner is a guide that includes all of the premium and recommended contents that you should review in your preparations.

I hope that helps!

Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for your reply. I have decided to subscribe for the FRM Part 1 Tier 3 Prep material. I have a couple of questions regarding the discount code.

1. Being an Indian Resident, do I fall into the category of people who can access the discount code? I am not sure because it says approved countries only.
2. If yes, would a scanned image of my passport suffice for me to access the code?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Ajit

Hi Suzanne,

I tried submitting a pdf file to show the relevant proof while requesting for a discount code. However, it gives me an error that says "Unable to process the attach file". Is there any other way I can submit the scanned document to access the discount code?

Thanks,
Ajit.
