FRM Level 1 passing

Hi guys,
This is more of off topic question, I guess. I have passed Level 1 FRM and I've heard that I am not allowed to put anywhere (LinkedIn, Resume) that I am FRM L1.

Is that true or I am allowed to do that?

Thank you in advance. :)

Hello @Serdar7891

No, you cannot state anywhere that you are a certified FRM until you have passed both parts of the exam and received the confirmation from GARP that your work experience has been approved. Passing Part 1 of the exam is only part of the FRM certification process. You can certainly say that you've passed Part 1, but you cannot state or imply that you are FRM certified in any way. GARP states this specifically on their website: https://www.garp.org/#!/frm/frequently-asked-questions.

Thank you,

Nicole
