Focus Review

Hi! As we are always working to improve your exam preparation, we are trying something new!

This is a fast-track supplemental review (for each P1 and P2) over the 16 weeks preceding the FRM exam, guided by eight (8) emails every two weeks. Of course, if you miss the emails, you can still access the sequence in the Study Planner. The Study Planner already contains videos in an AIM-by-AIM sequence. However, the FRM AIMs are very disperse and numerous; and the FRM exam itself is famously practical. Because we have years of experience helping candidates pass, we think a focus review can add a benefit.

Here is a summary of the focus review:
  • It is an additive "overlay" to the regular AIM-by-AIM content. It does NOT try to replace the regular long-form program. Rather, the goal of the focus review is to give you practice with the critical concepts.
  • David will record a brief video that "cuts to the chase" with essential concepts according to KEY TOPICS
  • After the key topics, David will review selected sample/practice questions (which he selects for their exam relevance)
  • Links to the associated detailed practice questions (PDFs) will be provided
  • As you can see, the idea here is convey the key topics quickly and get you engaged in working our practice questions (which are widely considered to be the best since David adds to the database daily). The goal is get you ready from an actionable Q&A perspective.
  • This is a built-in service for anybody with Tier 2 access or above.
If you have Tier 2 or Tier 3, you are automatically enrolled!

The target schedule for the focus review is here.

If you do have Tier 2 or Tier 3 access and if you want to receive email notifications, when the focus review sessions are published, you need to update your account settings here.

Just a quick note to exam candidates:

If a target review is not published exactly as scheduled, relax, it's coming.

However, when people keep asking about when it will be published, resources are unnecessarily allocated to answering these questions. Please allow for a period of several days after the target schedule, as it is just that - a target schedule.

Such questions also clutters up the "What's new" on the Forum unnecessarily.
