Hi David,

hope you are well. A general questions, will you be providing us with question on ERM? since it's a new reading for May 2011; do you expect questions on this topic on the exam.

Regards,
Sara

Hi saray,

Yes I will have new ERM questions but not for the May exam, rather for the November 2011 Exam. As always, i can only write quality questions as fast as possible, currently I am beefing up T3 and Basel (T7) but I'll get to the others after that (in fact, I'll publish a PQ calendar soon enough...)

Thanks, David

Thanks David,

Do you think there will be a few questions related to ERM on the exam ?

Best.

Hi Saray,

Yes, I would expect one or a few ERM because it's sort of a hot (or aspirational) topic. The thing that limits ERM/integrated, in my opinion, is that it is hard to quiz on under the ~3-minute a/b/c/d format (e.g., I think there is one true ERM question in the 2011 sample)...David

Thanks very much David..

Sorry.. one last question on this (i promise). Are your study notes on ERM enough or are there other materials that we should read.

Many thanks. s

Hi Saray, our notes and the videos (keep in mind you can download the PPT/PDF file if you don't want to sit throughout the audio/video) cover all of the AIMs. So, yes, they should be enough and I frankly wouldn't go beyond the assignments...Thanks, David

Hi david ... hijacking the thread.. the ERM u r talking abt is the new reading - ERM in operational risk management right? When u said 'not going beyond the assignments' .. is it the assigned reading by garp or refering to others? I like the notes n video u produced n do not see myself reading the assigned reading again...

Thanks ....
