ba-2 error 4 when calculating mean/variance of discrete distribution

I'm trying to get a hang of the texas instruments ba-2.

I was busy with question p1.201.2 and have the following sheet:

X Y
0 0.2
1 0.3
2 0.3
3 0.1
4 0.1

so I added everything to the datasheet (2nd + data then X01 = 0, Y01=02, X02 =1, etc...)

then i select 2nd + stat select 1-v and then press down.

However typing it like this I get an error 4.

Switching x and y also gives me an error 4.

removing x01 and y01 gives me an answer, and I do get a SigmaX = 1.6. but the de sigma or the std is not correct. Can anyone point out my mistake?

whats the problem i do getting correct answers.
First clear TVM and work.
Enter the values in 2nd+Data serial wise correctely.
Now press 2nd+ Stat and press up key sequentially and see all the values coming correctely.
i think you made mistake somewhere. do it 2-3 times.

Just tried it a moment ago. Not getting anything else then error 4.

It does work in 2nd stat ==> Lin but not in 1-v mode as explained in the manual.

steps i did:

2nd + clr tvm
2nd + clr work
2nd + data

x01 = 0 enter
y01 = 0.2 enter
x02 = 1 enter
y02 = 0.3 enter
x03 = 2 enter
y03 = 0.3 enter
x04 = 3 enter
y04 = 0.1 enter
x05 = 4 enter
y05 = 0.1 enter

2nd + stat
2nd + set (until 1-v)
finally either up or down.

seems to be exactly what i need to do

In the 1-v is used to calcultae only one variable stats what you were doing was u were running stats for values of 2 variables X and Y. please try again anf enter the values of only one variable either X or Y and do not enter other variable values be careful. clear Work-> 2nd
x01 = 0 enter
y01 = 1 dont enter anything
x02 = 1 enter
y02 = 1 dont enter anything
x03 = 2 enter
y03 = 1 dont enter anything
x04 = 3 enter
y04=1 dont enter anything
x05 = 4 enter

Data Now press 2nd+stat and 2nd+set until 1-v appears now press down arrow and see if results come up. for more refer page 65 of http://education.ti.com/guidebooks/financial/baiiplus/BAIIPLUSGuidebook_EN.pdf
