1) repetition in FRM 1&2 readings & 2) difficulty

1) Do anyone feel the same as me? I notice that there are a lot of repetition in the reading. For example, an author has addressed a concept in one topic and another author addressed the same thing in another topic.

2) I feel FRM part 1&2 together is very hard. I am a guy who passed 3 levels of CFA in 1 try. I have no confidence of doing it for FRM.

Hi maisatomai,

I agree with (1), while the degree can be debated, I don't think anyone can dispute there is at least some degree of overlapping or redundant concepts; e.g., CAPM has too much in 2012, I just finished writing new questions for Veronesi's exceelent Fixed Income chapter and then, subsequently (?), the Fabozzi chapters take a step back with overlap. It is partly a function of using expert authors I think ... David
