I'm wondering if CPE is a requirement for you to hold an FRM title. I'm hearing that you don't need to have a Garp membership, however to track your CPE points you do need to have a GARP membership.
I'm actually not that clear on what is an is not required to keep your FRM title.

i've submitted it 4 july.. I also would have thought they would be done by now. I probably have to extend my subscription to be able to enroll in the cpe program, just because of this.
just remember that the exam just scratches the surface of risk management. It's a good start but don't let it be the leading argument in the interview. You still will be learning a lot of new stuff that's not in the curriculum.
I think you need to identify if the other person really values the FRM designation. I've seen people who where head of risk departments that really didn't think much of it other than that it shows an interest. However I've also seen the opposite frm defines you.

huh! how did you pas with that :) the 5th percentile scores must have been very low. But i'm very glad for you! (i passed with similar results but first quartile in credit and market risk)

i don't see anywhere that they state you have to deliver the underlying. I think the digital/binary cds is a predetermined amount of recovery value of the underlying such that the cds will pay out before the underlying recovery value has been valuated.
