Maybe I am too stressed up but I remembered seeing something about FRM exam does not allow eraser and if you shaded the wrong answer, you are supposed to make correction on another piece of answer sheet?
I was afraid to change battery for fear that the new battery may be a lemon and die on me after working fine for a while. :p
I have been using the calculator for 5 years already and it has not die on me yet. So I am thinking that P(old battery dying)<P(New battery not working)
Actually I am most worried that the calculator will fail me in the exam. I am afraid it cannot be turned on after I enter the exam hall. I am just hoping that my 12Bii plus will at least give me some warning sign before it dies
I am a bit early as I managed to finish all mock papers today. I think my quant part is more or less okay. Now I am hoping to improve the qualitative part. Which chapters are hot topics for the exam? For example, I am sure one of them is Basel 2 chapter (in schweser it is chapter 43)
I stumbled onto this question while I was searching for answers to other questions to the official mock exam. I was unable to do it and I thought this may be a good question to discuss. I apologize if I have offended you:p
I saw this randomly on a china tuition provider website. They list the source as 2001 FRM real question.

Actually I am fine with working anywhere in the financial industry, but I would guess working in a risk management related job will benefit me more as it is a niche area (many people will just take CFA and go into investment)
The Masters is part time and 1.5years. So is it possible that I...
I remember reading something about LTCM not in the wrong. They are simply unlucky people as for example there may be a 1% chance losing 100 billion and 99% chance earning 50 billion but they are just unlucky that the 1% unfortunate event happens.
Anyone read anything like this before? Just want...
