Got my certificate today!

Certified as well! Submitted on Jan 3rd.

It shouldn't actually be interpreted that way. The fact of the matter is each is a QUARTILE so there are variable scores within each quartile score. The easiest way to think about it is there are 80 questions in Part 2, so for the 5 sections you have the following number of questions broken down...

Well technically it could be because if you need the certification for recruiting purposes, you wouldn't have it.

I tend to actually agree this is pretty poor job on GARPs part because some of these certifications coincide with performance review timing and technically you're not officially certified until GARP has certified you (even though you passed the 2 exams) and this might impact your review cycle...

I also noticed a similar thing when I took the test. In my opinion, and this is purely my opinion, I feel like as an international student or one with limited English exposure, you're looking for an alpha for career searching which will have to be language agnostic.. and what fits that skill...

Still no update for me. US Central location. Submitted day of official results (1/3/19).

I submitted work exp on the day of results and still haven't gotten certified. Location is TX, USA.

That's very weird as a I had the opposite experience. What was your timeline when you checked? It seemed to have only updated 5-6 hours before midnight 1/3 EST. Failed in the past and was able to re-register for Part 2 as well as no status update, while this time I passed and wasn't able to...

List is inaccurate indicator. I passed and my name is not on the list.

What does cyber security have to do with the timing trick? You still have to be logged in to view it..

Change it to a date and time way past the 3rd and you should be able to get the quartiles too.

if you can register again for part 2 AND your status did not change, then most likely yes. i've always seen the 2 updates go hand-in-hand. if you see a status update, then you should not be able to register. if you are able to register, then your status shouldn't have changed (would still say...

It's not New York time. I've seen the update well before midnight eastern time on the stated day.

That list looks outdated. It seems to show same names regardless of date you enter (unless it's like a cumulative pass list). Also, someone mentioned they were able to register again for Part 2 after signing in earlier in this thread, but they never posted a screenshot.

The reminder tip usually doesn't change until a day before the official release while the other methods like signing in to attempt to register again has yielded much earlier hints of whether you passed or not.
