Yes, it’s enough.
I would still recommend source readings for any reading that does not have end of chapter questions. So essentially all of part 1 (Foundations in risk management) and few of other readings in part 2-4 (one that comes to mind is Country risk article). I didn’t buy GARP books...
I doubt anyone here can answer that. Given that it doesn’t show for everyone yet makes me think it is legit (meaning likely they are still uploading results for some people).
^ Maybe your results are not posted yet? L2 might work differently than L1.
Can you just DL chrome or firefox to eliminate browser as the factor? IE barely supports anything.
Hope so. I guess we'll find out if anyone says they failed?
Without the time trick you can also "Inspect Element" the My Programs page.
Click on the red x.
Then expand the "Object" at the bottom.
My own research into the subject and what I was able to divulge out of a senior exam proctor seems to suggest the "carbon copy" is essentially irrelevant. I think they have it as a validation check in the event they are suspicious, but it is not actually used in the actual scoring.
Regardless...
Sorry to hear that, I took it in New York, and thought proctors were mostly nice and kept quiet. I was seated in the first row too and only heard whispering near the last 30 minutes where the group leader essentially told them to mark down seat numbers of anyone who is still writing after time...
If you read last year's feedback thread and go near the end people discussed the tricks to see if you passed or failed (not the actual quartiles of your performance). From my understanding, one involved changing the Windows PC time on your machine to trick GARP website. Another was logging and...
You are correct. Essentially it boils down to the expectation which involves the formula of an infinite geometric series, and an infinite geometric series sum(k=0 to inf) a*r^k only converges for |r| < 1.
June 28, but apparently there are "tricks" which worked historically to see your result 1 day before, ~June 27, but none of the methods are officially confirmed.

How do you know May pass rate (i.e. do you have a source), and does it include or not include no shows? A good pass rate should not include no shows, but I wouldn't be surprised if no shows were included to make it seem like a lower pass statistic.
Good to know and good luck to you as well...
I felt a lot of the questions were basic finance or common sense, like the one you cited. For example, the bonus of 80k in 1yr vs. breaking up 40K in 6 months and 40K in 1 year was something you should be able to solve simply knowing time value of money. Though it was a tricky one for me, b/c it...
On 1, I see, yeah I was not sure on that one. I picked the last one, but it doesn't sound right anymore to me.
On 2. I think you're right. I picked covered call, but after reviewing definition of covered call that is definitely not answer.
On VaR, wow I missed that 95% on the exam and thought...
I feel 55-60 is too low for pass. I was thinking high 60/low 70 for a pass.
Maybe I am biased, and I am not sure what you used to prepare for the exam (if any third party material at all). In an ideal world, I would've read all the source material, written my own notes, and done end of chapter...
Yeah, I went w/ Poison Put as the answer on the one you're talking about.
For the Unexpected Loss, my calculator was not working, so I guessed and do not remember.
D = 0.96, basically 1-4%. Per VWJ, answer was around 0.81. That's what I thought it should be too.
Seasonality I went with the first choice which said something to the effect of that some days are more volatile, though the choice saying that "you cannot see seasonality effect if you have only 1...
