Dear David and other members,
I took the FRM Part 1 exam on November 20th and like most people found it to be significantly tougher than what I expected. The questions were much tougher than the practice exam questions and I am looking to hedge against the possibility of failing the exam by doing the PRM.
Also, the biggest advantage the PRM has for me is that I can take the exam at anytime which is a huge plus given the multiple responsibilities and long working hours I face right now.
Now, having studied extensively for the FRM Part 1 exam, it makes sense to first pursue the PRM exam which has the greatest amount of overlap with the FRM Part 1 exam and therefore my question is-which PRM exam's curriculum (if any) significantly overlaps with the FRM Part 1 exam? If anybody is currently pursuing both designations or a member of the bionicturtle team can guide as to which PRM exam I should pursue first it would be of great help.
