Interactive Mock Exams

Hi Clay!

Coming very close to the August exam for FRM Part 1, I decided solve a few Full Length Mock Tests (Interactive Quiz). But unfortunately, the two tests I appeared for, has the exact same set of questions, with the exact same figures, with a small change in their order.

I had earlier appeared for Level 1 in November '24 and hadn't cleared. I hoped to take more mock tests this time to validate my prep. For the same reason I once again purchased the Bionic Turtle subscription. But I am afraid, this was highly disappointing.

I believe we all understand that FRM is a practice based exam. So merely solving practice questions from the End of Chapter exercises does not solve the problem. A full length mocks tries your timeliness, resilience, conceptual clarity and reflex.

Also, just one mock test does not cover the entire length and breadth of the syllabus. That is only possible through multiple tests.

I Sincerely urge you to upload more Full Length Interactive Quiz as soon as possible.

Thanks

Hello @JLahi3618

The questions in the Mock Exams are the same questions as the PQs in our chapter sets. They are just set up in the format of a mock exam instead of in a PDF. With the introduction of our new interactive PQ platform last year, we only provide one mock exam in our previous quiz format.

The interactive PQ platform allows you to create as many mock exams as you would like with the ability to change the options and track your results. You can choose the part, topic, chapter, and learning objectives. Here is the link to the interactive PQ platform: https://learn.bionicturtle.com/quiz-builder/. There is also a tutorial at the top of the study planner that provides information on the different features.

I hope this helps!

You’re absolutely right, one recycled mock isn’t really a full-length test. Especially in FRM where timing and mental endurance matter as much as knowing the content. Bionic Turtle’s content is good, but this definitely feels like a weak spot in their prep. They should’ve rolled out more unique quizzes by now

Hello @yelan376 Thank you for the feedback. Our mock exams have always been compiled with the PQs written for each learning objective and are updated annually with the latest questions. We only provide one mock exam in our PREVIOUS format because we launched the interactive PQ platform, which allows users to create as many mock exams as they would like from the over 3,000 practice questions currently in our PQ bank.

Writing high-quality practice questions requires a significant amount of time, especially since the curriculum changes annually. Each practice question was carefully written by our previous instructor (BT's founder), David Harper, and our current instructor, Clay Carter. As a very small team, we are doing our best to provide as many high-quality materials as possible with the resources we have. We will continue to make improvements where we can, as our customers have always been our top priority.
