GARP Chapter Appendix Important?

Hi,

I searched the forum for answer but couldn't find anything. The appendix at the end of each chapter in the GARP books can be quite lengthy and complex. Is this material examinable or good to know?

Hi,
I think appendix provides details pertaining to the topics covered in the chapter.appendix provides like some derivation of formula or some more details regarding a topic.Its i think optional to the readers its up-to you to decide whether you want to study the Appendix or not,if you want to enhance your understanding of the topic and study due to interest in the topic or you want to know more than provided in the chapter then you could read the Appendix no harm only benefits.But if you really want to get to the root of the chapter then i think Appendix is important,but if you are really in hurry with no time and interested to just get the main points relevant for the exam then you can just skip the Appendix.I am not saying that Appendix are that important for the Exam they are not that important if you have time constraint and do not have interest.But if you have time you could at-least give a glance or a fast reading of them.I would recommend if you have time to study then at least give a fast read or a glance to the Appendix,otherwise its not so important to study the Appendix for the exam according to my point of view.

Thanks - I had been dipping into it if I found the material interesting but avoiding otherwise. I'll carry on that way.
