Hi all,

I am a new member of this forum and I hope to receive advice from all you guys.
I want to write FRM Part 1 in November and CFA level I in December this year. I graduated with a major in Finance and Banking. I am currently working with CFA and have found that the level I is not so difficult. Regarding FRM, I still have not read any materials about it yet.
So, could I achieve my goal as I mentioned above ? I am free at present but will study Master in Finance full time from this August in U.S.
Thank you very much and welcome for all comments.

Yes you can achieve your goal provided you remain regular in your studies and complete the course in due time. There seems to be one month gap between cfa L1 and frm part 1 which is enough but do make sure that you cover the L1 prior to these so that during this time you can cover the L1 syllabus again. Last time what happened is that i sat for frm part 2 and cfa L 2 simultaneously in june but after sitting for frm part 2 on 19 may i had just 12 days to study for the cfa Level 2(scheduled on 1 june)so that i couldn't prepare properly for L2 and was there my downfall of clearing frm part 2 but not cfa l2. But do recognize that there is sufficient gap between the two exams. I see many people giving part 1 and part 2 simultaneously which is also not proper i mean it would be nice to give these exams separately with gap of minimum six months , i also created the same mistake which proved fatal for me i managed to clear part i but not part ii as was exhausted in the afternoon. Overall from my experience i would tell you to be regular and diligent in your studies and provide proper revision time before leading up-to the exam with sufficient practice questions.

thanks
