FRM 1

I am planning to register to take the FRM Level 1 this year (currently at the beginning of the process i.e. choosing study materials, registering for the November test, etc) and am looking for any advice as at this point. I graduated with a BA in business & economics and I'm currently working as an analyst for a wealth management company in their Alternate Investments division. Does anyone have advice on what study material would be the most beneficial, what you feel is an adequate amount of time per week spent studying this early in the process, and just any advice in general so that I can fully understand what I am about to get myself into?

Thanks for the response.
