CDS related question
Comapny A with a market cap of $announces a stocy buy back program of $5B. How will the CDS on Company A react? My thoughts: Stock buy back with bring down the cash and equity--- leading to the a higher leverage ratio. So the CDS spread has to increase. any thoughts??- Pallavi
