Same here. I wrote a friendly mail begin of this week. Never got an answer but today I got the approval mail. Could be a coincidence, but I think it is not ;)
Fun fact: Because I already took the Part II exam, I still had the 2019 books, without the Liquidity part - I didn't want to pay for all the books again, so I just had the BT Material to study.
Had a 2 on all topics, except Liquidity, where I scored ... first quartile.
Thanks David and Nicole.
On the first page, I see the "submit your work experience" too.
I could click on "see exam results" and got this (see attached).
So I guess its official :)
Depending on your timezone it probably doesn't make sense :-)
I think they will release the results during the day American time (not sure which zone they are in).
That's well into the afternoon/evening for Asia and Europe.
I checked again today and almost got a small heart attack, because it said "fail". But that is still the status of my last exam back in November 2019 which I actually failed:
What annoys me most:
1. They surely knew well before the 29th that they wouldn't make it in time.
2. They know everyone is waiting for the result anxiously.
3. Just writing a mail maybe with a sincere apology would have cost literally nothing but 10 Minutes effort.
As european, I did not even think of thanksgiving. But it makes a lot of sense now. Probably they just moved the exam date and kept the publication date 6 weeks after the exam, oblivious of the holiday. It really looks that this has taken them by surprise given the late communication.
I found...
If you took part 1, it actually could be a good sign.
Historicaly, being able to register for part 2 meant you passed part 1. It was an early tell, but only like some hours before the official confirmation.
Being able to register for the same exam that you took used to be a bad sign.
In the FAQ it literally says SUNDAY 29th and in the Member section it used to be "no later than 29th".
In my understanding, "no later than" means before November 29th, 23:59:59. So I would have expected getting the results latest Monday morning.
It is also a bit funny that they have have had 6...
I see this too, but on the FAQ it says 29th.
No feedback direct from GARP so far.
The whole process is very intransparent, if they need to postpone the publication of results, at least they could have sent a mail instead keeping on our toes for all this time.
Like I said, the early tells are not reliable.
Given the fact that users of the forum / BT subscribers usually have a higher than average pass rate, it is quite unlikely that all who tried this failed.
There was a similar thread back in 2019...
Got the same, however I did not pass 2019 and it seems based on the Date May 16 2020 to retake the exam, it still might be the old letter, just with an updated header (which might be automatically updated)
where did you find your ID? I want to crosscheck with the letter.
@all: Bear in mind that whatever the early tells say, it isn't over until you get the official confirmation ;-)
When you check with developer tools, do you see the following sentence:
we wanted to reiterate that our records will reflect that you have indeed passed the frm Exam. However, we will be unable to add you to our roster of Certified frms until you have provided us with the appropriate...
