Exam Feedback October 2020 Part 1 Exam Feedback

Sorry to hear that! Fair being <50%? Thing is that pass requirements are above 50% I believe, so that explains why it overall might not have been enough to pass.

Exam Feedback October 2020 Part 1 Exam Feedback

Yeah also thought the question wasn't practical, but very doable since there were only a hand full of data points. I think around 6? Definitely less than 10. So definitely nothing that should be a big problem, even if calculating manually you could get the response quickly. The only question in...

Exam Feedback October 2020 Part 1 Exam Feedback

I also thought it was achievable. I finished my first round through the questions in 3 hours and had 1 hour remaining to go back to questions where I wasn't sure. Also to me the text questions were the trickiest part of the exam where I often thought that 2 answers might be true. For most quant...

Luxembourg postponed to November, Germany not postponed but split into 2 locations apparently - I've been assigned a different hotel now. Hope there aren't any more last minute cancelations. I wish all candidates good luck for the exam tomorrow!

2020 Exam Update from GARP (updated on a regular basis)

In fact there are restrictions in the city of Frankfurt where the exam is taking place, because Frankfurt and the surrounding area has become a high risk area in October. New May 2020 Exam Date Released - COVID-19 discussion

Also they state that both exams might be moved further, into 2021, in case the situation still requires it. Personally, I think this might very well...

COVID-19 - Update from GARP Regarding May 2020 Exam

Well then those people simply take part 2 in the May exam 2021. I do not see the problem! ? There will definitely be people who take either part 1 in Nov, or who have passed part 1 in the past and now do part 2 in Nov 2020. You do not have to do those in a row..

Errors Found in Study Materials P1.T2. Quantitative Methods (OLD thread)

Hey, did you remove the study notes for Miller, Mathematics & Statistics? As you can see in the latest post I was working through them on Monday, just to see they apparently have disappeared. Will they be reuploaded or are you completely removing them? Thanks.

Errors Found in Study Materials P1.T2. Quantitative Methods (OLD thread)

Hi David. In the study notes for "Miller, Mathematics & Statistics for Financial Risk Management, Chapters 2,3, 4, 6 and 7", I found a small typo. On Page 28 in the standard deviation formula: In the term to the right, there is the index i, but the sum over i's is missing.
