Passed with 1212 which was surprising as I felt it could have gone either way coming out of the exam. Only purchased BT materials 2 weeks prior to the exam but glad I did. Will be using only BT for Part II in November. Customer service from Wiley was appalling.
Yip, maximise profit for 40% move up or down and minimise losses if it stayed in 20% range or something along those lines. I chose butterfly spread but strangle is the correct answer.
Few more:
- Calculate position delta of an option portfolio (think there were 4 options)
- Calculate gain/loss on a beta hedged portfolio.
- P value - reject or accept null
