They already got our money; honestly I bet they could care less about how much hooting and hollering we're doing. CFA & CAIA are still on the hook bc their is annual fees they collect, hence keeping them aligned and in check. This is not the case for FRM.

I think you're fine because that's what I get too after my application. Because if you view your submission it has the dates of your work experience and if it adds up to 2 years then it should count.

chill8064 - I hear your frustration, but no we can't use their designation...YET. As for an update, I haven't heard back from them at all. One of my close buddies that also took the exam with me, he received his about 2 weeks ago. I actually work in ERM and practice the market risk principles...

Nothing yet on my end ladies & gents. They said expect it to come around end of March was the latest when I called & asked. And I took the exam in October with results and application in December

your best bet would be to just leave it. I submitted mine in December too but haven't heard anything about it.

I just called. She was a lot nicer this time at least, I'll give them that much compared to the prior. But it's the same tune...few more weeks. She said the review committee is working to 'bang it out' as soon as possible. So long story short, there's no real update and she said she appreciates...

I just read through this. I work in ERM. I think after reading the stuff you guys have recorded, I think i'll likely get rejected too. Did they just e-mail you the rejections or did you have to find out by yourself by logging ing?

Yes cfa institute requires references. And yes, they do call your references. But even then it only took them two weeks to get my experience processed to become a charterholder. Not sure what FRM does, they must be reading between the lines

I just called GARP and "we are projected to have work experience reviewed in about another one to two months" due to the high volume of candidates... What volume? From both the October and November takers sir. Right. But you probably had more cancelations and withdrawals. Did you have any...

Wow. Four and a half months (sigh). That's about as long as people study for these exams. I have no comment for this level of professional conduct.

Nah it'll be 2020 if you took and passed in October/November. I stay steadfast with my prior opinions about this institution.
