Im also a CFA Charterholder and can agree with those comments above that the CFAI materials are great for all levels...especially 2 and 3. I studied mainly from the official books and supplemented here an there with some videos from Irfanhulla and some study notes from GoStudy for L3

Does anyone know how long it takes between the submission of work experience and the acceptance by GARP/ability to use the FRM credential etc? Just want to know how long until I am fully certified :D

I got my Part 1 results on the 5th Jan last year...this year supposed to be out before 3rd Jan I believe.

I got exactly - 0.03% for my calculation, or rather I got - 0.027% which needed to be rounded

I chose incremental VaR

Yeah I'm pretty sure...VaR is always one tailed but this is not a VaR, it is a significance test, which is usually two tailed u less otherwise specified. I recall the BT practice question used a 1.96 t stat for a 95% confidence significance test.

I believe the test statstic for the VaR backtest was 1.96 as it is a 95% two tailed test.
