Thank you Suzanne, I sent you an email.
A bit of a rant...
I tend to agree with Suzanne that 8 weeks is too long from a process perspective. This exam was administered 4 months ago. They provide an unofficial timeline of 1-4 weeks : http://www.facebook.com/garpfrm/posts/343568202321170...
I submitted my CV on July 6th. I emailed GARP about the status of verifying my work experience, but all they can say is they are looking at CV submissions in the order they received it. It's been over 8 weeks now, I find this rather disappointing that it could take them so long.
Still no response for me as well. Assuming that they are looking at CV submissions in the order they've received them, it's surprising they still haven't gone through all July 6th submissions... I guess more waiting for now.
David, I am in the same boat as Aleks. Just sent you an email with relevant info.
I had no issues when taking FRM Part I, but I have since moved to another state and therefore taking with new ID and new location... A little paranoid. Thanks..
Something that is often overlooked on these types of exams is the comfort level with your calculator. I recommend learning the memory features. This way you won't need to worry about rounding since you can store the exact value in your calculator's memory. You also save time by not writing down...
A little off topic here. But i was surprised at how much less quantitative the FRM questions are in comparison to actuarial exams. In my opinion this makes the actuarial exams several times more difficult. No complaints though...
