Where is Pi(3.14) on BA ll Plus calculator?

For calculating Gamma, the Pi(3.14) is needed for calculating N'(d1). The Pi or square like symbol is available on some calculators but I can't see it on BA ll Plus.

Is it available at all on BA ll Plus? and which symbol is used?

No Pi on BA II Plus. Seriously, nothing in the calculation will require accuracy greater than just typing in "3.14" in your calculator. Go ahead and add a few more numbers worth of decimal places if it gives you more comfort.

hi,
method 1: just type 22/7 to be approximate upto 2 places of decimals.
22/7=3.14
method 2: to be just exact 103993/33102=3.141592653.. to be approximate which is the correct value of pi to 9 places of decimals..

thanks

I totally agree that 3.14 will be sufficient; the modern FRM will not hang you up on fine decimal precision.

Although, i followed the advice here on AO and it works for me to take the inverse of SIN(1), although it's clumsy to switch to radians just for this, so this isn't practical:
[2nd] FORMAT ↓ [2nd] SET: changes display to RADians
1 [INV] [2nd] SIN: = 1.570796 .... = π/2
* 2 = 3.14159...
i.e., sin(90 deg) = sin (π/2) = 1.0, s.t.. sin(-1)(1) = π/2

thanks,

So it's not available on the BA plus calculator, somehow I'm just happy that it's not.
I'll follow your recommendations dependent on the decimals needed.
Thanks,
