Thinking about purchasing Part II Advanced Package

Hi,
I passed Part I in Nov 2013, and only registered for Part II in Nov 2014 (had to postpone May sitting due to personal problems). I was thinking about purchasing your Part II Advanced Package, mainly due to high-quality instructional videos, samples of which I saw on youtube.
As it is was some time since I studied for Part I exam, some quant stuff I feel that I need to be revised. If I buy only Part II Adv package, will I be able to access Part I instructional videos to revisit quant stuff from Part I?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you,

Hi @hamu4ok Thanks for your interest! :) Hopefully you can see from the Study Planner (https://learn.bionicturtle.com/frm-study-planner) that P1 and P2 are separated, as they are in the syllabus. If you purchase Part II, you do not have access to Part 1. I hope that explains, thanks!
thank you for your reply. I would have to buy Part I + II as one package, probably. Will then I have full access to both parts?
One question, I would like also be able to watch instructional videos while at work. However at work access to youtube is prohibited. I hope that videos are hosted somewhere else. Do I need to install adobe flash plugin (which version) for browser Chrome/IE to watch online videos? Can I work on my account from different PCs (one at work, another home)?

Hi @hamu4ok
  • Yes, if you purchase both Parts I & II, then yes, of course you get access to both parts!
  • The videos are hosted at wistia (in large part to ensure quality).
  • Re: Do I need to install adobe flash plugin (which version) for browser Chrome/IE to watch online videos? I don't think so, but let me ask Nicole to look into this question because I am not certain cc @Nicole Manley
  • Re: Can I work on my account from different PCs (one at work, another home)? Yes, we neither digitally secure (e.g., DRM) the individual resources nor do we constrain access (e.g, IP addresses). Our view is that we just don't want the added inconvenience to customers and the implied additional support costs. I hope that helps, thanks again for your interest!

@David Harper CFA FRM CIPM,

I am not aware of any need to install adobe flash plugin. Anytime a website has required a flash plugin, it normally pops up on the screen and I have not experienced this on our website when viewing videos.
