There were fewer quantitative questions than qualitative. A lot of time goes in reading and re-reading the long worded questions to understand what exactly is expected of us. The options are very closely related. So one has to be extra careful not to be misled, which is generally the case.

A good number of the questions were on hedging. Various scenarios from different derivatives and their hedging strategies were asked. I was also surprised to see many questions from Insurance, comparatively lesser from Options. And what I realized was that one question from every single topic is asked, so there is no way that you can skip any topic.

Finishing the test in the stipulated time is a big challenge, since none of the questions is anything that you'd have solved in any mock tests or question banks anywhere.

But ultimately its your grip on the subject that is tested.
