FRM 2013 - Core readings

Hi all! I've just registered for the May 2013 exams and am starting to look at how i should approach this whole thing. Got a few questions and was hoping some of you guys will be able to help!

So I've always had the impression that the core reading for part I is composed of 4 books (whenever it becomes available for me buy later this month), but looking at the study guide reading list - there seem to be way more than 4 books there. Am I right in thinking that the official core reading is just lots of different chapters from different books stitched together?

I guess naturally, my next question is whether the BT packages offered here are based off those exact chapters with more annotation and explaination to each part?
