Please use this thread to let us know about any errors, missing/broken links, etc., that you find in the 2025 materials in Topic 2, Quantitative Analysis. This keeps our forum organized. We appreciate your cooperation! :)

PLEASE NOTE: Our Practice Question sets already have links to their specific forum threads where you can post about any errors that you find. This thread is for any other materials (notes, spreadsheets, videos, etc.) where you might find errors.

Please include this information in your post so we can correct errors:

  • Chapter
  • Page number
  • Specific details about the error

Hi, I found this on p. 392 in Ch. 6. I believe this sentence should read "If we fail to reject a false null" rather than "true null" as failing to reject a true null would be correct (1-a).

@MMonk4392 That is correct. Thank you for pointing this out. It should say "If we fail to reject a false null, then we commit a Type II error". @Nicole Seaman

Sorry, I'm back. In the below (p.461) the interpretations of CI for slope and intercept are switched. You may hear from me a few times-- but it's a good sign that BT's detailed explanation of the concepts has helped me to spot these! :)

@MMonk4392 That is correct. The explanation under "For the slope" actually describes the confidence interval for the intercept (β₀). The explanation under "For the intercept" incorrectly describes the confidence interval for the slope (β₁). The correct confidence interval for the slope is −2.280±(0.480×1.96).
