It depends how much bad you are in quant,if you can solve basic equations and know basic addition,multiplication math then clearing FRM should be no problem with you. You should be good in basic algebra,arithmetic and i think apart from some exceptional topics where you should know advanced math...
Its amazing to see that registrations have increased so much almost doubled since 2009 transforms to annual growth rate of 15-17%,congratulations Garp people,this should only increase the recognition and value of the FRM designation.

Hi
The critical t value do turn out to be 1.972,here u take df=200-1=199,and confidence percent=95%,i tried it out in excel as function =T.INV(97.5%,198)=1.972 ,as excel gives critical value for 1 tail i used the confidence percent=97.5%.
Please see the Study Guide http://www.garp.org/media/1489257/frm_program_manual_2015_-__013015_rev.pdf.
I think it has relevance for the exam as its included in the Guide as one of the topics to be studied for the exam. Even if its of low-medium relevance it would be good if you give a quick...

Hi
As i can understand but may be David can clear on this later when he comes,
You see the cds compression in context of reducing a net long/short position in cds to a counterparty. By carrying out the compressive cds trades this net long/short position is reduced to counterparty and thus...
@frm_risk
